Dan Haring is from the tiny Utah town of Goshen and grew up loving to draw and write. He went to Brigham Young University, and for a long time worked in the animation industry, helping make films such as Disney’s Tangled and Sony’s Hotel Transylvania. He’s currently back in Utah with his awesome family, creating new worlds in Virtual Reality, and drawing and writing in his free time. He thinks Batman is pretty rad. THE STAR SHEPHERD (Sourcebooks 2019) is his debut novel.

Samantha Hastings graduated from Brigham Young University, the University of Reading (Berkshire, England), and the University of North Texas. She has worked as a tennis instructor, janitor, data entry clerk, basketball referee, adjunct college faculty, teen librarian, and now as an author. She met her husband in a turkey sandwich line. Sofiya Pasternack is a nurse whose fondest childhood memories involve her pet goats wrecking up the house. When she’s not at the hospital, she can be found enjoying Utah’s wild places, teaching her kids to make challah, and promoting friendly dragons. Her debut middle-grade fantasy, ANYA AND THE DRAGON, is sort of about a Jewish farm girl named Anya, and sort of about a dragon, but mostly about Anya’s pet goat, Zvezda. Tiana Smith is a copywriter turned novelist who grew up in the Wild West of Montana. When she isn’t writing, she’s chasing after her ninja son, reading, or binging the Disney Channel.
